This past Valentine's Day my daughter was dead set on making a slew of Valentines to give to family members. I thought it would be helpful to make a mail bag for her to keep all of her creations in so here is what I came up with. I was inspired by these creations I found on Pinterest:
Life has been a roller coaster for us lately. Since the fall we've been trying to sell a home, buy a home and to top it all off, learning there will be a new addition to the family in a few weeks. Not much time for much in the way of being creative - it's very disheartening wanting to craft and then having to clean up everything you've laid out to work on because you are informed that a potential buyer is coming round to see the place.
Add to that my daughter starting a new school ( kindergarden) and you have a recipe for not getting much done at all.
Well, not getting as much as you'd like to get to get done.
That being said, I wanted to help out at my daughter's new school and donate something hand made for the raffle they were going to have at the annual Christmas fair.
With the absolute craze everyone had with the movie Frozen, I decided to whip up a smaller version of one of my princess baskets that had a fictional winter/snow princess theme.
